Valentine’s Day <3

I was never a Valentine’s Day girlie until I met my husband at a ‘Bleeding Hearts Club’ singles party in grad school the weekend after Valentine’s Day. There were vacuum formed nachos, cheap beer and Dan was the only guy tall enough for me to be interested in. 14 years and a kid later, I still enjoy making Valentine’s Day a little bit special. Cheap beer has been replaced with infused tequila, but there are definitely still going to be nachos. I’ll decorate with a simple felt heart garland and some pink paper plates, napkins a lot of festive candy, and our favorite ABCs of Love Book. I really don’t like any holiday to become stressful for me, but a few special touches help make a normal night in become memorable.
