Be my Valentine…
I’m not sure how it’s even time to be thinking about Valentine’s Day already, yet here we are. I feel like every holiday I go through a similar cycle of emotions.
Being annoyed by society expectation and mass consumerism

Finding a bit of a compromise between making magical memories, satisfying creative urges and not stressing myself out too much.
The kiddo really enjoyed our small amounts of Christmas and Birthday decorations, so I think this red and pink garland will be fun for the house. Last year we got store bought Valentine’s, but this year I want to attempt to make our own together. Neon paper + heart stickers + candy should be easy enough for the kid to start and me to finish. And most importantly, a treat for the grown ups! I think this year I’ll be adding some citrus and tequila to our infuser and pretend we’re fancy.
